A change is in the wind...
So, you probably know that Source Tournaments died off really badly a few weeks ago. Mainly because Slammer (the old leader) wasn't very motivated and I went to Basic Military Training to join the Air Force for seven weeks. Well, I'm back (obviously) and it's time for some change. Soon this website will be going down and Source Tournaments will cease to exist. However, we are coming back online with some of the same management, all new sponsors, a brand new name, and better features and tournaments. So you're probably wondering what the new face of Source Tournaments is going to look like, eh?
Well, check it out: http://www.ReactiveLeague.com
Reactive Gaming League will feature the same code that I wrote on this site, but with more features because I'll be making it for me, instead of for someone else. As of this moment, we really don't have a designated time frame to have the website complete, and I'm looking to gather some help from anyone that's willing to pitch in. I'm currently looking for web designers, web developers, public relations representatives, and brain-stormers. Designers need to have an outstanding working knowledge of Photoshop CS3 and basic HTML. Developers need to be fluent in PHP, MySQL, HTML, XML, be familiar with working on a *Nix machine via a terminal such as a BASH shell, and be very mature since you'll have access to part of my web-server. PR Reps need to have very good English grammar and spelling, be mature, and be able to talk to prospective sponsors. Anyone interested in being a brain-stormer just has to be creative. If you meet any of the above requirements, or can bring something else to the table, PM me on the forum, or email me at AtroxMavenia@gmail.com.
Currently, we are not really looking for server sponsors, as we aren't ready to start hosting tournaments. However, if you would like to discuss possibly sponsoring us in the future, feel free to get in touch with me.

Optimistic Grand Re-Opening of Source Tournaments
Soon I'll be having much more free time and I'll be allowed to have a computer in my dorm. As soon as that happens Source Tournaments is going to be coming back online. We'll probably have a name change to shed all the mental links associated with the old Source Tournaments and how poorly it ran. For now, we're sticking as ST and when I finally have a PC in my room, we'll see about changing the name and such. ETA on the Re-Opening should be sometime in June.

Return of the 'Trox
So, I'm on "Base Liberty" right now which means I can do anything on base. I graduated BMT today and I ship out to Monterey CA on Monday the 5th. I don't know when I'll be able to consistently get on a computer though. Just thought I'd stop by and let you all know that I will be returning very soon, w00t w00t. Time to get ST rolling again.

SourceTournaments Going Dormate
SourceTournaments is going dormant until further notice.
Our sponsors were awful. Nobody wanted to give enough effort to keep it running.
Check back in a few months for activity.

Some Updates to the Site
Today I finally finished the banner with the new logo created by xSivness and got it set up. You may have to refresh your browser to clear your cache and get the new logo. While I was doing that, I decided to go ahead and fill out some of the missing links in the menu. The "My Settings" menu should be complete, and even has a link for "Edit Team" for team leaders and managers. Regular team players won't see the link. I did, however, forget to make the "My Team" link only show up for people who are on teams, but I'll fix that later. If you find any other bugs or errors with the menu or anywhere else on the site, make sure to post them here: Website Bug Reports.

So I finally talked to an admin from zBlock and got my Auth Host for Source Tournaments authorized. Now we have our own custom zBlock Auth Host.
